Why Become Like Children?

The longer I live the more messed up our world becomes. The more I live the more I understand why Jesus said certain things. Things like “allow the little children to come to me”, and “unless you go back to square one and see and become like little children you’ll miss out on the kingdom life”.
Why did Jesus say we should become like children?
Here are 3 reasons but not the only 3.
1. Children believe that our God is strong, able, and willing.
2. Unless adults have messed up their beliefs, they know God is GOOD and only GOOD.
3. Their simplicity and wisdom. A while back one of our grandsons asked me a question. He asked - Paw what is transgender? I explained it the best I could to a child by saying the word transgender is used to describe people that were born as boy or girl then through confusion they decide they don’t want to be the gender/sex they were born as. I went to explain and many of them have surgery to change the sex they were born as. Then after a few minutes of silence, he spoke up and said I don’t understand all the fuss! If you look inside someone’s pants and they have a penis they’re a boy if they don’t have one they are girls. PLEASE Lord help adults learn from the children!
