God desired that you know Him on a personal level. He didn’t send more information, but rather Jesus, to demonstrate and show us who He is. The OT Prophets told us about God and what He was like but Jesus showed us.
Hebrews 1:3 says; everything about Jesus represents God exactly because He is stamped with His nature and character.
Don’t let religious ideas about God replace who He really is and that is a loving Father.
