Who Is Jesus?

God helps the church to become attractive to people that do not know Him as their “Loving Father” instead catering to and trying to keep the religious frozen chosen happy. I have firmly believed for many years that people have not rejected God as much as they have the church or the God we reflect. Have you ever wondered how could Jesus be so attractive to people that did not know God while churches are most often so unattractive? Is it because in some ways we have strayed from the Jesus of the Bible and the way He related?
Remember this about Jesus….
1. He was known as the friend of sinners.
2. He never rebuked a sinner.
3. People who were not like Him liked Him.
4. He loved people that did not like Him
Times like these should be our greatest hour for the church to show the world our God of love!
Matt 5:14-16 "Here's another way to put it: You're here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We're going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don't think I'm going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I'm putting you on a light stand. Now that I've put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand — shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven. MESSAGE
