Our worth is determined by one thing – the worth God places on our lives. That worth must be tremendous if Jesus was willing to lay down his life for us. This is one of the most liberating facts I have ever come across. The implications are vast. If God loves us, and if his estimation of our value is all that matters, we are truly free. We can stop our pursuit of significance in anything else. We need to learn God’s opinion of us and trust what he says.
