Love Those that Curse You

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? BLESS THOSE THAT CURSE YOU?
Here's a relationship principle that we need to give consideration.
Mat 5:44 says "love" your enemies and "bless" those that curse you. The original language would say something like this, show affection and kindness to those that are actively hostile toward you, speak well of those that speak evil and negative about you.
Herein lies the problem for most of us. We really DO NOT believe this will work for everyone's benefit, we'd rather try to get even and in ourselves we do not possess the strength to do it.
Here's the solution: remember you can't get even and get over it so you must decide which one you want the most. You're not strong enough to do it alone. Focus on God's love and let His grace, His ability empower you to do it.
One last thing, stop waiting on the feeling of kindness to be kind and your relationships will begin to improve.
