As important as it is to realize that Jesus forgives all sin, we are completely righteous in him without account of our works; it is also important to realize that where grace is alive in our heart - there is victory over sin! 

In other words, true grace does not become our excuse to sin. Rather, it empowers us to walk out of sin!
