We’re WAY More Blessed Than We May Think!
The following is something to ponder if you don't know what to be thankful for.
"If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead, and a place to sleep ... you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have any money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace ... you are among the top 8% of the world's most wealthy.
3 billion people in the world today struggle to survive on $2/day.
If you have electricity you’re better off than 1.4 billion people in the world.
If you have access to clean drinking water you’re better off than 1 billion people (1 in 7)
If you have a college education you’re better off than 6.5 billion people.
8.8 million people die from hunger each year – 6.5 million are under 5 years old.
1 in 4 children under the age of 18 in the U.S. go to bed hungry each night
If you woke up this morning with no health illness ... you are more blessed than the millions who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of war, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death ... you are more blessed than three billion in people in the world.
If you read the above you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
