I’m so thankful that God corrects me without degrading me.

Hebrews 8:12 says, For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Years ago I discovered that merciful means to have cheerfulness that attracts and it totally changed how I viewed God’s correction. On the other hand we must remember that love and acceptance is not the same as condoning something.

Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery "neither do I condemn you," however, "go and sin no more." Here’s the deal, when God corrects you, you'll feel better about yourself when it’s over. If that’s not what you feel when correction comes, that's religion not your loving Father.
